Moses prophesied about Jesus 1,500 years before He came to earth. Moses said, “…A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people” (Acts 3:22-23).
Strong words – every person that will not hear Jesus will be destroyed. The Apostle Peter understood this greatest of all truths. When Jesus asked Peter and the other disciples if they would go away also, Peter replied, “…Lord, to who shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life” (John 6:68).
